These Terms govern your use of LostInManila. By creating an account, signing in, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
Using the service
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login, and use the service lawfully. If you are a minor, you must use the service only with the permission and supervision required by your parent or legal guardian and applicable law.
Travel information is not a guarantee
Place details, prices, opening hours, road conditions, directions, safety information, and trip suggestions can change or be wrong. Confirm important information with the establishment or relevant authority before travelling. You remain responsible for your route, transport, health, safety, permissions, and decisions.
Your contributions
You retain ownership of content you create. When you submit content, you grant LostInManila the permissions described in the Contributor Content Agreement so the service can host, display, moderate, promote, and operate that content. You must have the rights and permissions needed for everything you submit.
Prohibited activity
- Illegal, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content.
- Copyright or trademark infringement, impersonation, fake reviews, undisclosed spam, or manipulated engagement.
- Malware, automated scraping that harms the service, attempts to bypass access controls, or interference with accounts and infrastructure.
- Publishing precise private-location information, personal data, or identifiable images without the necessary permission.
Moderation and accounts
We may review, label, limit, reject, remove, or preserve content and may restrict or close accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people, comply with law, or keep the service reliable. You may report content through the available report form.
Third-party services
Maps, sign-in, advertisements, establishment websites, and other linked services are operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services, and LostInManila does not control their availability or content.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LostInManila disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from travel decisions, third-party services, user contributions, or interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes, law, and contact
